Finally a Regular Season Game

The weather finally cooperated and we got to see the Bruins play tonight. Chan played left field the entire game and went 2 for 3 at the plate. The action was very quiet in the outfield as winds gusted towards home plate around 25mph keeping the balls shallow. Another reason was we pitched our best pitcher and the other team couldn't hit off him. Chan struck out his first at bat going after balls over his head, his second at bat he was patient and earned a walk, and the third at bat he drove one up the middle for an RBI. (a real confident booster). I skipped school tonight to attend the game. After 6 rainouts already I didn't want to take the chance of missing this one, because weather is in the forcast for the rest of the week. Sorry no pics, I only took two at the game and they weren't the best.

Shhh, Don't tell anyone, We snuck out today TO RIDE

We couldn't let the awesome weather go by, so we put Chan's bike back together last night and went riding today. He really likes his new ride. He says he especially likes how it handles in the corners. Enjoy the pics and video.

Hansome, Athletic and SMART!

This Thursday Chandler was inducted into the National Junior Honor Society. We are so proud! I can't say that I have that on my Resume. Him along with 122 other students were called up on stage and handed a certificate and a membership card. What an exciting time. He is on his way to some secret society that he won't be able to tell me anyhting about. Hahaha. I may have a future president living in my house. Great Job Chan!

National Champion Cheerleader

I am aloud to bend the rules a little, I snuck Rylea into the boys blog page. What can I say I am a very proud Daddy. I went solo with the kids this wekend to KC Missouri for Ryleas Cheer competition and we had a blast. OK, i fibbed a little, I wasn't totally by myself, I had help from my parents and my grandma that met me in KC. They were a huge help. (Thanks guys) The days are long watching all levels of competition and sometimes even having to fight off sleep a time or two. But when Ryleas squad called the Cougar compete, you can find me on the edge of my seat. Nothing can substitute watching my only daughter putting everything into her routine only to be awarded a first place trophy at the Nationals. She was such a trooper having to perform twice and even with a headache the second day. Here are some photos of our weekend in KC. enjoy...,
Ry and Jen are off to Chicago this weekend for their last competition of the year while Chan and I stay in Nebraska for Chandler's Earlybird Baseball Tournament.
